Before launching Jamaica Culinary Tours, Anne and Janet Crick created the Falmouth Food Tour, which earned the Most Authentic Jamaican Attraction award in 2017. Our tours operate rain or shine.
Only severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or official emergency warnings (such as hurricanes or tropical storms) will result in a tour cancellation.
If we cancel your tour due to severe weather, you may choose either:
A full refund, or
Reschedule your tour for another available date.

Our food tours include leisurely walking between tasting locations.
Guests should be comfortable walking for approximately 1–2 miles (1.5–3 km) over the course of the tour, with frequent stops for food, drinks, sightseeing, and storytelling.

Regrettably some tours and experiences will not be wheelchair accessible. If you or a member of your party uses a wheel chair, please contact us before booking to determine whether the tour is wheelchair accessible.

We absolutely do encourage you to patronize the vendors that we visit. Please bear in mind though that the stops are carefully timed to ensure that the tour stays on schedule, so do be mindful of time when making your purchases so as not to delay the tour and keep your fellow guests waiting.

We highly recommend booking our experiences at the beginning of your visit so you allow plenty of time to revisit the wonderful neighborhoods, restaurants, historic sites, and points of interest. Your guide can also provide you with lots of recommendations for things to do all over the island.

Most definitely! Children are always welcome at Jamaica Culinary Tours! You can judge from tour descriptions if your child is likely to enjoy the food. Fees for children age 3 to 12 are discounted and free for children aged 2 and under.
If you are bringing a child that is 2 years of age or younger, and the child will not be eating during the tour, you do not need to purchase a ticket for him/her. However, if your child is 3 years of age or older, you will need to purchase a ticket for him/her, regardless of whether the child will be participating in the tastings.Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Please contact us before booking if you have very young children so we can advise whether the tour is suitable for their age.

Depending on the time of the year, your group will have anywhere between 2 and 14 people. We like to keep the groups small and personal so that you have a more immersive experience. That way you can easily hear everything your guide says, and feel engaged, and comfortable.

A reminder to be respectful when photographing others. Not everyone is comfortable with being caught on camera, so always ask permission before photographing local people and vendors. -
Gratuities are not included in the tour price. Tipping your guide is appreciated but entirely optional.
